It’s been four months I am playing around with it and till now I’ve never got any problem with it and I am seriously loving it. Previously I used to stick to my Bada, but believe me, it was previously . When I was to mash my Samsung Bada and get a new smartphone, the two phones in my mind were iPhone and some Android powered device, I had done little research before buying and found Android is far better; so I got me a Samsung Galaxy 3, which I later upgraded to Froyo.

When I got an Android powered mobile, everyone was “Dude, why did you leave an opportunity of getting an iPhone, if you were getting?” And here are some reasons why I got an Android device and why I love it:

Reasons I Prefer Android than iPhone:

Android has flash support available, where iPhone doesn’t. Though iPhone has HTML 5, but what dude? Even Android has!

You can customize the home screen as you want it to look like, but in iPhone you cannot. :/

Alternative keyboards can be used in Android, but you can’t find any for iPhone.

You can install applications without the Android market in Android, but without App Store, you can’t in iPhone.

Android files can be edited and that’s legal, but iPhone’s cannot and it’s illegal

You can install apps wirelessly in Android, but can’t in iPhone.

You gotta unlock the iPhone before using, but in Android you don’t need to.

Android mobiles are hellot cheaper than iPhones, and also with same features and applications.

You can change/remove an Android powered device’s battery, but can’t iPhone’s.

Home screen can be settled up with lots of Widgets available, but not iPhone’s.

You can even control an Android from your Computer, but iPhone you cannot.

Google love will be only found in Android, though most of the Google Apps are available for iPhone, but Apps of the same manufacture, whose operating system is won’t make a perfect combination?

iPhone has many bugs as compared to Android. Though these days even Android viruses are out.

Upgrading an Android is too easy as compared to iPhone OS upgrading.

………Got an Android device? Understanding the basic categories might help you make the right decision. There is nothing worse than spending your allowance when you did not know another category existed. Here is a look at the basic categories to get you started.

<Image Credits>

Music and Hits. Very popular in the ringtone market. Many of the latest songs and hits are available as a ringtone as soon as the song is released. If you like artists that are not that popular you might be able to find some of these for free. Newer artists will use these to spread their music and gain popularity. If you don’t pay for any song you are playing on your phone you are breaching copyright laws.

Movies. These are some of the best know out-takes from the best known movies. A good example is the beginning part of each Star Trek movie or episode. Some of the most famous and memorable conversations from classic movies have been converted for ringtone use. Of course you will find many sub-category divisions here. Again, all of these sounds are subject to copyright laws.

Strange Sounds. Everyone wishes they could replicate some of the sounds in movies. There is a category of ringtones that includes everything from the sounds of a ‘light saber’ from Star Wars, to the life-like sounds of barking dogs. These sounds are also very popular and many people will set them to different incoming-callers. A dog barking for the wife? A siren for your husband perhaps? There are literally thousands in this category. You will find one that suits just about everyone you know. Many of these sounds are also subject to very strict copyright laws.

Formats. There are about 50 different cell phone tone formats. It can get pretty confusing so we will stick to the basics. No matter what the format there are only 3 basic versions. Monophonic tones are the simplest. Only very old mobile phones actually still use these. They consist of a series of notes played one at a time. Polyphonic tones can have several musical notes played at a single time. These were the ‘big new thing’ until the release of phones that could handle real audio recordings. True-tone tones are real audio recordings. The newer your phone, the better sounds it will be able to handle. Most of the paid ringtones online are the true-tone type. They have also been modified for the small speaker on your handset. Making them sound good is not as easy as some people may think.

Video Ringtones. These are the latest development for those not content with just having a sound. Perhaps you want to see your favourite artist and not just hear them.

Always take care when you are downloading data from a website. Look carefully for the detailed description of what you are subscribing to. You should also look for a contact address or at least a contact phone number in your country. Somehow I’ve got my hands on the Chinese fake model and here I am sharing all about it.

First Look:
The first look of the phone was quite impressive and gave me a feel of the iPhone, but when I took it in my hand, all feel was gone. It had a resistive touchscreen, which looked completely useless to me after using Samsung Star, Samsung Wave and Galaxy 3 for almost 4 months. Also, the griping of phone and icons it had weren’t up to the mark for me. Especially, after using Android and Bada powered phones it seemed bit awkward to use.

The Body:

The body of the phone was made of local and cheap plastic, mostly the one, which is used in making toys *seriously*. It didn’t have a USB cable connection port, which is available in the original iPhone. It has a MicroSD slot though. You can insert the card and play your media *though the playing quality of the songs, videos and pictures too wasn’t as good if you compare the compare with iPhone 4*.

I removed the back cover. The battery was a lion battery, designed in the USA.

The Operating System:

I’d really appreciate the hard work of the Chinese engineers who were able make a ditto copy of the iOS, though as I said the quality wasn’t good, may be because the original iPhone has HD screen. What I loved about this iPhone was, it had a Bluetooth and MMS available

Some of the features of OS:

Bluetooth & MMS option.

Chat features, to send messages as in IM form.

iCalendar

and many other weird features…

Conclusion:

The phone is quite cool and worth buying *if you can’t afford the original Apple iPhone or would like to fool around your friends that your iPhone got a Bluetooth*. Hehehe. I’d give it 1.5 stars to the phone out of 5.

Special thanks to Gaurav Arora for the Chinese iPhone.

Hands on The Chinese iPhone. is a post from: Extreme Trix

Increase Mobile Battery Life in 3 Steps!

Apple

iPhone

Mobile

Tips

Everyone of us wants our battery to give us more power and life especially when we don’t want our mobile to get switched off when we are on an important call or stuck somewhere in an unknown place.
