It’s been a long time from I am updating my sites with latest and qualified news, tips and much more, but today I am sorry to say that I wouldn’t be able to continue this, for a month; as my exams are going to start. This would be fourth time I am going on a break. I thought my readers won’t get any update if I would take a break again and may get pissed off from me that’s why I was even planning to sell the blogs as the buyer would continue updating sites, but thanks to Chetan bro and Akshay bro who made me realized that selling blogs wouldn’t be good for me.

Rather than selling my blogs to keep you all always being updated, I had converted my blogs into blogs cum Social Networks via BuddyPress (which is currently in testing mode (beta ) so that the guest bloggers can join Extreme Trix or Passionate Bloggers and could contribute in writing by being paid per post and moreover, they can easily interact with other members of my blogs and discuss whatever they like to. Some of its features are:

Public Profile
Personal Messaging
Twitter like message sending option (by using @ key)
Facebook like notifications
and much more…

Nothing much to write about..I’ll be back soon with launch of my network; Plexus 5 and many more sites. Until for more updates ‘Like’ our Facebook fan page.

#3 Monthly Round Up and traffic report.

May was pretty cool month for us. This month we did a lot of work especially I want to appreciate the hard work of Ankit who made such a nice skin for the theme (now version five is final!), Ankit not only worked on the theme, but yeah we also welcomed a full-time editor – Akshay. We completed the goals that we made in last month and wanted to complete as soon as we could though the difference is negible in traffic. Steve Jobs co-founded Apple (not the fruit ) in year 1976. Apple recently introduced the iPad, a breakthrough Internet and digital media device just like their Mac, plus the iBookstore, alongside iTunes and the App Store. Steve also co-found and was CEO of Pixar Animation Studios, which created some of most successful animated movies in the World.

Ever thought how much Steve gets paid per month? Huh ever? This morning while reading The Times of India, came through a list of lowest paid CEOs and Steve was one of them. So what’s his salary? One dollar! Yeah! Shocked? Even I was too, then I thought how can one make living from 1$ per month? So Googled it and found that it’s just a ploy.

Ploy? Yeah! It’s just a ploy to save taxes. If Steve used to get the normal salary that a CEO gets, then he would have to pay 35% of the salary as tax.

So how he earns?

He too lives a luxurious life just as other CEO do. Disney Pixar is his main source of income, being one of the boards of the directors he is owning 138 million shares and Disney pays $.35 per share. So you can imagine how much does he make.

This proves that smart work is always better than hard work! Isn’t it? ;-P

Hello folks! I am pleased to introduce myself – Akshay, the co-editor of Extreme Trix. I am very happy to be a part of this extra-ordinary blog and would help as much as I can to make it number number one blog in the world. I am a kind of fun loving person, who spend around 12 hours on Internet checking out various stuff and other things. Ya I am a gaming freak and love to play all kinds of games, I am really passionate about hacking and web development, I have made sites for some big companies such as E-phoenix, Dk Gray Hosting and currently holding three more projects with Extreme Trix too. I am also interested in graphic designing and have knowledge in this field too.

In all the above mention qualities i think hacking is the one field in which I am more comfortable and experienced.

Ankit made the first skin in Web of the TechieSoul theme and is using on Extreme Trix (with the launch of Extreme Trix v5). And I must say after those changes the blog have become much more enhanced and looks much much better, now you all can easily read recent post because this feature has been added, also separate column for tutorials have been added so that you can find required tutorials much easily. I am sure most of you must be unaware of this that last night Google updated the page rank of all the sites live on the Web. Google didn’t update the Page rank of most of the sites (and even they didn’t update ours). They mostly updated the rank of new blogs and sites. I came to know about the Page rank update when I was just going through Passionate Bloggers blog. It got page rank two! If you want to check your site’s page rank you can install Google Toolbar to check or just refer to PR Checker.

March was simply awesome for all our blogs and was the best month especially for Extreme Trix. This month we were back to blogging after a long break of three months (our blog was not updated because Ankit‘s exams were going on). We got two sponsors this month who paid us really well just for two in-link advertisements. This March Google also showed its love for us, they gave us eight link backs and approved us for Adsense. As we promised (in first post of this month) that we’ll be doing monthly round ups, here we are. I have compiled a list of all our posts of this month.

I’m continuously blogging since the launch date of Extreme Trix version one. Now I’m completely tired by blogging. Blogging is disturbing my studies and my social life too. Because of blogging I’m not able to focus on my studies properly nor able to spend time with my friends and family. This time I want to score good marks not like what I scored in first term. I was getting second rank in my class, but I failed in Mathematics so didn’t get any rank.

I still have two months to prepare for my exams so I can score good marks. I have decided to take a long break from blogging. We’ll be back after the month of Feburary when my exams will get over and my holidays will start. After coming back the first thing I’m going to do is the launch of first WordPress theme (haven’t decided its name yet, actually its under construction). Hope you guys will like it.

Just a quick post to say sorry to all readers for not updating Extreme Trix from last week. Actually was I was ill, I was having fever and my doctor advised me not to do any exertion and take rest for some days. That’s why I did not update Extreme Trix from last week. I took medicine and had some rest and now feeling much better.

Welcome to Extreme Trix 3.0!

Before writing anything, I would like to thank Prateek and Farhan bro for helping me. If you are a regular reader of Extreme Trix, then you may have observed that our site was down from last night, no there was no problem is our server, but yesterday when I was trying to upgrade my WordPress to 2.8.6 manually my blog directory (where ET is installed) got deleted. I was even not having my WordPress back-up still somehow I got my permalinks and images because of Google Cache.

I have made some severe changes in blog and changes are -

Swift Theme – now I have started using Swift theme on Extreme Trix because it is clean and simple. Well it’s always good to have themes like SWIFT at your disposal so that you can easily switch to it if you are expecting a spike in traffic from social media sites.
WidgetBucks - Just giving it a try
125 Ads – Started using 125 x 125 advertisements in sidebar.
Added a Logo!
