It worked at first, but for some unknown reason now when I run the .bat to lock the file, my folder does lock and disappear but the Control Panel folder then appears with all of my files there…any ideas?

I tried it on Windows 7 but doesnot run.When i double click batch file dos wiil open in a flash n go in a second n no folder is made.How can i solve this?

i have locked the folder with excel files, i retrived again it was working good. but i accidently copied the locker folder to other drive. and then copied the .bat file to that folder and used it to locker. when i tried to open again with the password only a empty locker folder is created. i need those files back . please help

u r absolutely ryt buddy but this thing ( script ) was just an exmple to shw the power of simple dos…..and yes…..!!! to make it more refined we must make it an exe but thn their will be 2 thngs make it more complex so as to make it flexible to modify passwrd on owners request or make a default passwrd.
