The most common problem faced by new bloggers is that they don’t get any topic to write about. As they don’t get any topic to write about they start writing spam or review posts, which is not good for SEO. There is no use of writing spam or reviews as no one will like to read your post, but if your content is nice or interesting, then everyone will like to read it which will help you increase your traffic.

I know many newbies don’t get hours and hours of time to spend on internet so they also don’t get updated about their niche. For a blogger it’s always advised to cover latest updates or news about the niche he is blogging because covering a latest and original update would help him to get organic traffic.

For e.g, – If you are blogging on “Technology” niche, then covering an update about Apple Macbook’s new mouse will give more traffic than covering an update about Microsoft Windows seven. Covering an update about Apple’s new mouse will bring more traffic because it is new and still many people are unaware of it, but covering a review of Windows seven will not bring more traffic to your site because it is an old news and many people have already covered the same.

What to do if you don’t get time spend hours on internet, but want to cover latest and original updates on your blog/site?

I have a solution for all those new bloggers who don’t get time to spend hours on internet, but want to cover latest updates about their niche (which would help them to increase their traffic). You can use Google Alerts and watch new channels to stay updated about your niche.

• News Channels – New channels like IBN 7 and Ajj Tak always show cool news in all niches like technology, shopping, marketing, money making and a lot more. So I will advise you to watch news channels in your free time like while having your lunch.
• Google Alerts – is a very useful way to keep in touch of what’s going around the world. You don’t have to waste your time going to search engines and find something. Just add a Google alert for your favorite topic and Google will automatically email you about the latest information on that topic.

Once you develop a strong foundation in the niche of your own choice, take up a dedicated time of the day (away from any distraction) and just write in. I am damn sure covering latest updates in niche of your own choice would help you to get good traffic in minimum time.

Task – Try Google Alerts for a week and watch IBN 7, cover latest updates from your niche, after a week or two check your traffic and please do let us know via comment.
