A year back, a history was created in the segment of the Technology world; Windows 7 was released worldwide. No doubt that it was (and even it is) one of the best operating systems in the World with a competition with Apple’s Mac. Before the launch, its stunning graphics, cool features and the hard work Microsoft Team did even make the company itself; Microsoft to release a site to allow everyone to experience Windows 7 online without buying it and then the RT builds.

With a sale of 240 million legal copies of Windows in a year, still more than 40% of the PC users still have the pirated Windows 7 or the RT builds installed in their Pcs, which surely would only not increase the risk of getting infected by Viruses, but would also not give them a right to enjoy Windows Updates and newly launched features. Updates and features are other case, but in the pirated cases Windows also starts showing a ‘Remove WGA’ message, which seriously sucks and could surely annoy big time anyone, while he is operating the PC.

Ever wondered how to make your keyboard light blink like  disco lights or glow in a sequence like Diwali lights glow? You can do this by just writing a simple Visual Basic script. Don’t worry I will provide the script, and all you have to do is copy and paste. That’s it and you can turn your ordinary keyboard into disco lights enabled keyboard.

Copy the following script into a notepad, then save that file with an extension “.vbs” (Visual Basic users may already be familiar with it). After that just double click on the new file, with a script like icon and you can see the magic, lights will start glowing in a sequence or randomly.

The mobile phones addiction is increasing day by day, now we see a mobile in every second person’s hands. Don’t we? All are getting mobile geeks today may because of the effect of the “Idea’s ‘Save paper, use mobile’ advertisement or the Nokia’s new study” whatever the reason may be, like all of them I am too getting. Now the most important gadget in my life without which I can’t even live is my mobile – Sony Ericsson w910i. I was recently Playing with it during my trip to India recently. To escape my boredom and for a kind of Distraction or “Support”, depending on what you call.

Someone having advanced knowledge on mobile phones, not meaning technically, but about the model releases, etc. Must be knowing that a Sony Ericsson W910i/W595/W760 and maybe some more phones cannot use the Front Camera even though it is present, for making a Video or Taking a picture when there is no Video Call currently going on! So anyone as such must be Sony Ericsson have kept it disabled as not to be used when there is no video call going. I wonder what is the reason behind it, but it is not available.

When I was simply playing around the phone menu’s, I came across a set of Sub Menu that I never came across. Let me inform you that, I don’t use the Video Calling feature in my phone. So these set of menus were in the video call menu. In such a way that even a Video Calling user most probably might not have noticed as well.

So after some thinking I discovered that the Front Camera of W910i and other similar phones CAN take a Video Recording of around 30 seconds. There are some Cons in it. But anyway I say my phone can record video using its Front Camera when there is no Current Video Call going on even though SE says it as “Impossible”.

So here is what I did

• Go to “Contacts”
• Pick Any Contact and press “Options”
• Press “Make Video Call”
• On the “Video Call failed” dialog box, press “send Video msg”
• Behold ! now you can see yourself using the Front Camera
• Press the “record” button and record……
• After the Video has been recorded, save it and you will notice an MMS dialog box
• Close the MMS dialog box and “Save” it
• Now you can see the Video you recorded on your Memory Card or Phone Memory depending on your Basic Camera Settings (i.e. rear camera)

There is nothing much too do these days as holidays are going on. All are gone bore by playing, playing and playing. There is nothing else do to especially we (me and my friends) have nothing to these days. We can’t study too as our result is yet not announced and moreover we will getting our books by 27th of March. We are bored by extracurricular activities too. It has been now very difficult for all of us to pass time.

A day before yesterday I got a comment from one of an old friend, she wrote “I have nothing to do these days.. Bored of Lyf!”

I thought why not to search for something that can kill boredom of mine, my friends and that friend. I searched via Google and found interesting video of a trick on YouTube. That trick will show sunspots on Facebook site.

Now you may be thinking how come sunspots can be seen on Facebook’s pages. Well, you will not see the real sunspots, but will get the effect of light, which will make you feel that sunspots are there on your Facebook page.

How does the trick work?

• Login in the home page of Facebook.
• Now use your keyboard and hit the follow keys: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, enter.
• use your mouse scroll wheel and scroll up and down the page. Lastly, click on a text box on Facebook and begin typing any random thing.
• Done!

It is simply an awesome trick, which will not make you feel bore. if you are not able to perform the trick correctly, then you can refer to this video.

Ring tones? We all love to have the ring tones of the latest music that’s out. But sometimes, we don’t get them or we get something unexpected that we don’t like. I was in a similar condition googling the web for the ring tones of my favorite track, then I finally made my mind to make one myself.

I found some good ways to make ring tones on my own, here are they:

• MP3 Cutter – You can use this to extract your favorite parts of the music and use them as ring tone.
• Virtual DJ – You can be a bit creative and make remixes of the music using this soft, but it is a little advance & it would take some time for you to learn things in this.
• Make Own Ring tone – It is an online Ring tone Creator! It’s the easiest way to create ringtones and apply effects to it. The only prob is that you have to first upload your music to it to make a ringtone out of that, of course. Uploading can be a very sick thing if you’re on slow connections

Now you can be sure that you have a unique ring tone, unless you share it with your friends (which is a good thing to do)

These days most of the computers are getting effected by Autorun.inf (it is a simple text-based configuration file that tells the operating system which executable to start, which icon to use, and which additional menu commands to make available) virus, these viruses set its file attributes to System+Hidden+Read-Only attributes so some anti-viruses will have a hard time detecting or finding them. If your computer is also a victim of Autorun.inf virus and you are unable to remove/delete it, then I have a solution for you!, just follow these simple steps to remove Autorun.inf virus :

This is Dinesh here (Ankit’s friend) and this is my first post on Extreme Trix, today I am going to tell you how can we track IP address of our friend with whom we are chatting without any application or programming knowledge, last night I was talking with my friend about to learn hacking, but we didn’t get any way to learn it, but someone told to track how to track your friends IP, so I thought to share it with you all. The person whom you are talking should be in your friend’s list if you want to know his/her IP. Just follow these steps -

• Now, open start -> select run -> type “CMD”
• Now chat with your friend
• and in CMD write “NETSTAT “
• and it will show all the IP address connected with your IP address.
