Well, you might ask me why I’ve mentioned ‘Android Froyo’ in the title. Actually, Android lower than Froyo doesn’t has an option to allow applications to be moved to the SD Card, so.

How to Move:

Moving an application from your Phone to your SD Card or your SD Card to your Phone is even easy than reading it. Follow these steps:

• Go to Settings.
• Settings > Applications.
• Settings > Applications > Manage Applications.
• Choose the App you want to move.
• and click on the ‘Move to SD Card‘ button.

Well, I know it’s being a long time since the Android 3.0 is  and 2.3 even released for the tablets and smartphones in market (respectively), but still most the Android users haven’t got the taste of Android 2.2 (Froyo). As most of the companies are shipping mobiles with Eclair and not even releasing the updates users aren’t able to try it and one of the such company is Samsung. Remember Samsung promised us that they are coming for an Android update for Galaxy 3 this March, as they did for Galaxy s, but didn’t come? I remembered.

And today I was determined myself that somehow I would update my Galaxy 3 to the Froyo version and I did. Special thanks to the iGyaan Tutorial, which helped me out, and today I am gonna share the same with you.

Things Needed

• Download the latest version of Kies.
• Samsung original USB Cable.
• Android Froyo firmware – Download Here (password =  samfirmware.com)
• ODIN downloader (Download Here).
• OPS files (click here to download).
• Windows XP or later (I performed it on Windows 7, don’t worry if your Windows is genuine or not).

Notes to be READ CAREFULLY

• First of all check you Android Firmare. Call ‘*#1234#’ and note it down (if you would have to restore it).
• Not All Phones would work properly after UPDATING.
• You must have BACK UP of your Mobile, before updating, you can download from:

Tutorial to Update:

• Take out Battery from your mobile phone. I hope it’s fully charged.
• Turn off your Galaxy, remove the battery, re-insert it and then Press the following buttons together: Home + Menu + Volume + Power

• Connect Galaxy 3 with your ORIGINAL SAMSUNG USB. Let Windows recognise it and install the drivers.
• After getting message that your device is ready to use, open ODIN DOWNLOADER.
• Select One Package, Auto Reboot and Protect Ops boxes.
• Extract the RAR (15800xxjpa) to get a .tar file.
• Select the tar in ODIN DOWNLOADER.

• Now click the ‘Start Button‘ and let it update the Phone, once done it would reboot the phone.
• The first reboot would take around 2 minutes or may longer. It took me 2.75 minutes.
• Glad. You have Froyo on your Galaxy 3 now.

Other Notes:

• Messages won’t work on Froyo Galaxy 3, though you can install ‘Handcent SMS’ as an alternate and it would work as charm.

After a long, here’s an Android post on Extreme Trix, folks. Hope, all reading it got an Android powered phone for sure. Android is something that other operating systems can never be and that’s why all like it, it has around 1 Million applications in the Android Market and today using one the Apps of the Android Market only, I am going to tell you, how can you use your 3G connection (and even normal GPRS too) on the Computer too and use its fastness.

How-to –

Go to the Android Market App on your mobile, search for ‘easy tether’. You would see two versions of the App. The first one is EasyTether and second is EasyTether Lite. See, if you want to make your phone a wi-fi modem, then you would have to go for the first app, which is a paid one and if you’re ok with normal USB modem, then Lite version is quite ok and it’s free too.

Once downloaded and installed, run it and you would get the EasyTether Setup Wizard. Choose the Operating System you have and click on the ‘Next’ button.

Once done, it would ask to install drivers on your computer. Head over to this page and choose your Operating system and install them.

Once successfully installed, enable the USB debug mode in your mobile and remove the USB mode from the Mass Storage Settings. Samsung Mobile users would have to download another driver, which could be downloaded from here.

Once installed, connect your Mobile to computer via USB and you would see an icon saying ‘Connection Established’

Facebook, the world 2nd largest popular website after Google, has made several attempts to clean spammers and fake people. Though facebook has been successfully in many of the task. Now facebook has come up with another idea to removing and teaching spammers and fake people a good lesson.

Facebook is now dealing very strictly with fake people making fake profiles for their girlfriend, college mates, family members, etc. Though in india, its not considered a big issue, but in some parts of the world, the law has been successfully amended by the facebook authorities. Some progress has also been made to amend this rule in india too.

Anyone who intentionally and without consent impersonate someone else in the media through the Internet or other electronic medias for the purpose of harming,intimidating ,threatening or deceiving others,has conducted a criminal offense will be handled severely.

This rule is stated by the San Francisco Gate, applicable to all countries and people of irrespective community.

The law is directly enforced by the facebook authorities under the act. People tends to take this law as small one, but its not the case so, any person found doing such an activity will be taken into action for $1,000 fine and imprisonment as well.

Therefore its advisable not to waste your money by paying it to facebook authorities in case if you get caught. If you are earning more than $1,000, it might not be a problem for you to pay the fine and get away, but there is an additional punishment also, which is imprisonment.

You can also report to facebook authorities about such activities by clicking on “Report Abuse“. With this measures, its expected that facebook will now clean most of the fake profiles.

Finally the much waited Internet Explorer 9 is available to download on the official Microsoft website. The new version is quite cool and stable as I felt. I didn’t use it much, but till the time I used it, I felt good. At least, better than using any other version of Internet Explorer. I’ve being noticing from few hours since the IE 9 is out that  Windows users, complaining that they aren’t able to install the new version in their system. Probably, they were downloading it from alternative sites, which had IE for different version or didn’t know that Microsoft has updated their site with IE 9 download details. Whatever, the reason may be, I am posting a small tutorial to install IE on different versions of Windows.

Before getting the Internet Explorer installed, let me tell you that IE9 isn’t available for Windows XP users and make sure you have the original Windows version. If, you don’t have not to worry you can easily Make Windows Genuine in Just a Click.

Steps to install:

Head over to the official Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer Page and click on the blue colored ‘Download now’ button.
